We’d race into the home to get our ice cream cash after which wait eagerly on the curb till the Good Humor man and his truck pulled into view. There have been all types of flavors of ice cream in cups that you might eat with little picket spoons. There have been cones known as Drumsticks that featured vanilla ice cream in a cookie cone dipped in chocolate and rolled with nuts. There have been icy chilly popsicles in each taste you might identify that we might break in half and share with a buddy or sibling, and naturally the ever widespread Huge Stick. However my private favourite was the 50/50 bar. For those who have been born after the 1980’s you might not have a clue what I’m speaking about so let me clarify. Typically they have been known as Creamsicles, typically Dreamsicles however we all the time known as them 50/50 bars. A 50/50 bar is an ice cream bar that’s half vanilla ice cream on the heart with one other half on the skin that’s orange popsicle….thus the identify 50/50.
